Solar Simulation Systems

Solar Simulators Photo Emission Tech., Inc., manufactures and markets solar simulation systems also known as sun simulator that provide full spectrum light equal to the sunlight. The primarily applications of these solar equipments are checking Photovoltaic Cell performance, materials testing, photo-lithography, cosmetic testing and in any other application where the effect of exposure to sun light needs to be studied, such as photochemistry / photobiology testing and environmental exposure testing. Seven standard solar simulators models are available for each class that serves these markets. Solar simulator systems can be manufactured with three different air mass (AM) filters: AM0, AM1 and AM1.5. These solar simulators meet ASTM E927 (Japanese Standard JIS C8912 and European Standard IEC 60904-9) Class A and Class B requirements.

Curve Data Acquisition (I-V Measurement) Systems
Photo Emission Tech., Inc. also manufactures and markets various models of solar cell testerI-V measurement systems also known as solar cell tester. These solar work in conjunction with its solar simulator systems, measuring the current density and open circuit voltage of photovoltaic cell and/or semiconductor devices.

Surface Quality Monitors

Surface Quality Monitors Photo Emission Tech., Inc., manufactures and markets various models of surface monitoring systems that are used to measure surface cleanliness, or monitor absence/presence of organic and/or inorganic surface micro-contamination. The systems can also be used for detecting invisible thin films/coatings and measuring the relative thickness of very thin films. Following is a brief description of each system. Four standard SQM series Surface Quality Monitors and seven standard Sensors are available. See the individual product page for more details.

UV Spot Curing

UV Curing System Photo Emission Tech., Inc., manufactures and markets UV Spot Curing Systems. The process of ultraviolet or UV curing is defined as hardening of a liquid film of material when exposed to ultraviolet light. The particular substance to be processed may vary widely depending upon its application and final use, but basically is composed of base polymers, non-solvent diluents and photo-initiators. Specially formulated monomers will polymerize when exposed to ultraviolet light. This UV "curable" monomer includes a chemical agent that absorbs UV energy and initiates a polymerizing reaction in the monomer. The applications of UV Spot Curing Systems include Diode Pig tailing, Lens Bonding, Potting, Strain Relief, Optical Component Mounting, Glass/Metal Bonding, Fiber Bonding, and Component Marking.
